Trevor EscapesA Chapter by Stephen CaldwellChapter 96: Trevor Escapes
Morning came and Trevor felt sickly. Pale and yellow were his legs and he knew it was probably from being out in the cold all night, but just to be on the safe side, he healed himself in the bathroom for a period of time. Then he went right and flopped in the bath-tub. He soaked for an hour or so. Turning the water on and off a few times. “How can I get this sick this fast?” he pondered. “That's okay. I'll come out on top anyway.” he smiled. He splashed more water over his face. He was concerned with the color of his skin. He was practically coerced to attack the undead head on when he saw the girl being eaten. Though she'd already been shot dead. Trevor wondered why he was going through all this again. So far one girl was kidnapped and one dead. Might've called this a failure, but he couldn't count himself out yet. Nor, Jamie, and David and all the rest. “Oh, that's right.” Trevor thought. There was still one more out there that he knew was unbeknownst to him. Trevor went back to sleep. Trevor got a bit of hope and inspiration boiling in his blood. The one problem was he couldn't get himself out of his bed. He laughed and pulled the covers off and ran to jump in the shower. Not knowing how sickly he actually was. He looked down to his body and his penis and then shrugged and got in the hot water. He washed his hair and stepped back out. Drying of and redressing quickly. He had to go visit the red orb. He was running out of options, he had so many questions and he had to see if it could heal him again like it did last time. Trevor searched the internet again. He knew it had something to do with the full moon. He was in luck, the moon was full again tonight. Not realizing what he had to do. He could not remember the instruction he was given the first time he'd met with the orb. But, now wasn't the time to fiddle around with anything besides the plan at hand. He needed help and he didn't know who to ask for it. Today was the day everything would turn around. He picked up his cell phone and called David. No answer, he became frustrated. Something was wrong with him and he didn't know what it was had he been infected again? He decided the best option right now was to go back to sleep. So, exactly was what he did. He awoke around six o'clock p.m. He couldn't decide whether he wanted to eat or sleep some more. He went with eating. He grabbed two waffles from the freezer and cooked them in the toaster. Spreading butter and syrup on them. He ate willingly for the rest of the hour. Then got up and called David again. He answered this time. “Hey Trev, I saw you call earlier.” “Yeah, I need your help.” “Alright, I'll be right down.” he responded and hung up. “That was easy.” Trevor thought. When David arrived he was watching him through the window moving up toward the door. Trevor ran to the door and opened it before he could knock or ring. Trevor saw him in a new outfit. “When'd ya get that?” “Oh, these? Just the other day. Like em'?” “Yes. Yes I do. Now, come in.” he told him.. “I'm having problems. I think that undead got me sick.” he explained. “What? That's awful.” he said genuinely. Trevor couldn't help but feel ashamed of letting himself be afflicted at this stage in the game. Now, his fingers were wrapped around his leg and he cried out in agony. They were seething with pain and he almost wanted to ask, “Why God?” but refrained. David was messing around on his phone again. “What could be so interesting on his phone?” he thought. Then there was a shaking in his heart. Trevor passed out. He woke up in the dark room again. “Yes! I got here anyway.” He looked straight into the strand of light again. Then was transferred to the orb's residence again. “Oh, lemme guess… you want me to heal you again?” It said. “Yes! And, I want to know who that freak was who took Brittany!? And, how do I find the last guy, I can't find him anywhere.” “He's in the stratosphere dummy. You can't get back to him unless he comes down on his own.” “Oh, I was talking about the last intercessor… but, okay.” “Hmm.. I don't know that myself.” You'll have to find him on your own. I don't know much more than you.” “Oh, yeah, you can read my mind can't you?” “Yes, I can, and I only know about that person from thousands of years of knowledge gathered.” It elaborated. “Gotcha… can you help me or not?” “When you wake up again you'll be better That's the most I can do for you.” “Gee… th..” he popped awake in his bed with David in the room.© 2016 Stephen Caldwell |
