Chapter 54: Lights. Camera. Faction.

Just then a rally of people stormed through the entryway, they pressed him against the wall and all went to the main room. He tucked away his lighter and got his way through the conjunction. If he knew what they were doing, he might’ve gone in there and checked it out. But, he went into the bathroom and washed his mouth with minty oral wash. For his breath smelled like ripe cigarettes and frothy brews. He crawled back to the kitchen, now semi-intoxicated. Well, he already was, but it was starting to run through his blood. He furnished his wallet and asked someone if he could buy another drink. He did, although, he actually had no clue if he was entitled to sell him one of the drinks from this fridge. He got about two beers and a shot glass of liquor he’d no idea what it was. He punished himself slurping them down and hung out by the bar type area with Lester to be precise, and one girl, and possibly two more persons confined in this kitchen. As he spoke with Lester and she, he worked his way up to getting another cigarette. He wasn’t sure he’d be able to drive home. Trevor recommended to Lester he get them drinks with his money. At that second. The one person standing with them fell down and crashed her whole self on the margin between here and the back door.  He did in fact reach to get her hand and possibly catch her, however, he was not nearly quick enough. He watched her fall limp on what was seemingly a constructed ironing board and break it to nothing of useful standings. It was rather eloquent really. Trevor stood a-back feeling something of uncomfortable with his near-miss and an unlit cigarette. Everything felt hazy and surreal. He made his way forward and sat on the floor as a couple of people tried to wake her and lift her. For a while he couldn’t believe that it’d happened, but he walked out and pretty much got in his car. Lit the cigarette and left.
