He awoke languid from the side of his bed and fell off. “Oww.” He groaned, puckering his lips and gulping a wad of drool that had likely formed when he was slumbering in that precarious position. Opening his drawer and getting out the notes he took yesterday in the late afternoon. Jumping to the part about the dark sky and trying to decipher what he could from that. The imagery made him think it was an actuality that this was going to turn into what he’d been told. Being what was supposed to be a semi-adult was odd. Now that the placement of his life at risk, he would act. So maybe… he had some kind of validity in his existence now, only maybe.
