A free verse poem is how i best can describe this How ever its interpreted is the readers choice. I myself have my own thoughts and perspective but others may have another issue they can relate it to

Sinking Boat In The Sky

I think about a boat, still in the ocean
It sinks.
But where does it end up
The world is so big
When it sinks it stays there
Because there's room for it
Nobody needs it
Nobody will miss it
Yet.
We don't want the boat to sink
But we'll watch it do just that,
Because we enjoy the view
It's exciting
Even thou its a horrible thing
There's people dying on that boat
Everyday.
But we sit there and watch it
Because that's all we can do
We can't stop it from sinking
Nobody can.
It's terrifying to think about you
Or anyone close to you
Being on that boat.
You want to get off.
To escape.
You think that itll make things easier
It won't.
There's too much that boat
Too many good things,
Too many to lose.
What you love to do
What makes you smile
What makes you laugh
Your family.
Your friends.
So you stay.
And accept that one day
That boat that has everything
You love on it.
Will one day sink.
You accept it.
And your happy.
Because you had the chance
And the time to be on that boat
With all of those things.
Time that is limited.
But it's still time.
Time that should not be wasted
Because once that boat sinks.
It can't float again.
It stays at the bottom of that ocean
And all that's left.
All that you have to remember
Are the memories.
Memories of that boat
When it rested gently above the water
Before sinking
Before they were just memories
Before time ran out.
You can prevent that boat from sinking
You just need the right tools.
And patience.
And to find a reason
To not let it sink.
Don't let that boat sink.
