No Bounds

No Bounds

A Poem by Rachel Harper
"

Search up fernweh and you will understand.

"

Upward is the light,

Downward on me, I’m not contrite,

Because it feels better than to be alone,

And they’re bound for somewhere,

And I’m bound for nowhere,

But I know no bounds stronger than my own.

We want to leave this dead town,

This district doesn’t cater our kind around,

And I’m walking in shoes filled with stones,

While I say some day,

They say not today,

And it is all that is ever shown.
