I am not a landscape artist, but waterwalking is not for the weak of mind.
I would have made you my world, if it meant having you.
I would have travelled the dunes of your bare back A thousand and one nights and a hundred more days If I had the strenght to see you deserted.
I would have jumped in your gaping-abyss pupils Without a second thought or look If you told me the darkness within would welcome me.
I would have sailed the fjords that run your body Dawn sky blue - walked their waters most pure If i wasn't so afraid to drown in your veins.
And I would have hiked through every single of your scars Journeyed every summit of your summer-worn skin Echoed your name in every valley If, in the end, you would forgive me.
Love the imagery work in this one...the almost haunting idea of traversing the human body as if it were an actual landscape is very nice (I've used this idea before as well, and I find that it is very effective in creating emotion).

If I wasn't so afraid to drown in your veins. -- powerful, poignant...sublime.
