Another one of my once-upon-a-time love issue-angst poems. I have too many of these for my own comfort.

don't give up
( to do that
  would mean
      defeat )

latch on and
have faith
take a hold and
don't let go

be patient and
things will turn in your favor
hang around and
it will all come to you

patience will win you this game
so long as you're there to win
so don't leave,
p e r s e v e r e !

and trust me
i'll get you there
