The Economist

The Economist

A Poem by Eos

I’m running out of sunsets
And I’ve lost my horse
To instant oatmeal
And a consequence of illness
While the rattling of keys
Rewrites Wall Street’s news
Into a victory for gun lobbyists
Redder than the radioactive forest
Reclining before the alter of Europe.
