A Poem by Eon

Letting go is hard to do,
Trust you me I know.
A simple past engagement,
Takes so much time to heal.
A full years gone by,
And though we never talk,
There you are in my head.

Night by night you visit,
And when I wake I look,
For what I felt and heard,
Next to me you seemed to lay.

But in this world so cruel and true,
I know twas but a dream.
For like a ghost you disappear,
And make me want to SCREAM.
