Saviour.

Saviour.

A Poem by Mehak Mushtaq

A long time, since I felt love,
Ages, since I spread my wings,
An eternity, since I flew in the sky above.

My different story, my dear heart.
Hurt a little, killed a little more.
Another malice story dare not start.

For, I'm helpless when I care.
I'm pitiful when in love.
Losing once loved, can't bear.

Messy and uncertain my talk.
Expression is not my art.
Without me guiding, (into my heart) walk.

Without me walking behind, guide.
Without me talking, hear.
And walk without me walking aside.

I'm just a little insecure not much insane.
Just a little more in love, just a little more pain.
Not my smile a rainbow, nor my tear, rain.

Much happier, much sane with you.
Never a single tear.
A lot in the blue, heaven knows because of who.

You been a Christmas carol, a chime in the unsonor.
You been all worthwhile.
You been the medicine of sore.

And pray not ask, you're not him.
My Eden's just the corpse - my heart.
Faded lights, colors dim.

A canvas black my soul,
And a color red your love.
He be dead my colors he stole.

Beginning and end, life, rest unknown.
Existence is wordly life.
Faith, hence, love borne.

Now stay today if my end is near.
Adam or Eden, I shan't fear.
Your promise of counting one last breath, else all a nightmare.

I like the lines above. Complete poem was a amazing journey into thoughts of love.
I like the honest tone of the poem. Made the reader feel the struggle to find a peace of a sort. No weakness in the outstanding poetry.

Life without love is indeed saner and on the level ground, but is blue and grey. While love is a dizzying flight and a blinding colorful rainbow bright, but is inevitable pain!

Which do you prefer? Your call!

I loved this poem that brought me out of my depressing one-way train of thoughts!
