Two matching marks on a scrap of happiness, with your lipstick kiss in the corner there; it's a season ticket for admission to miss you, and complimentary contentment in the conviction that you care.
Where you are is never so far that I'm without you, my dear. I'm without doubt, because knowing of your love is easy, easy as seeing your marks on the map you gave me,
to help me to find you if you lose yourself; an X representing where I'm standing, and an O to show me where you are; you're never so far, oh you're never so far,
that we're not connected, and I'm not directed, by a dotted line an inch or eight along. It's been a long time you've been away, but that's okay because you're never so far.
It's only easy to forget her if you let your Self-same Savior slip your mind But her behavior in all her ways are all so mine that I'd just as soon leave myself behind
Never so simple a similarity Implying the eminent end that's par For the world's limitations, and past all it's polarity, We're always connected, and you're never so far
And words can cross worlds if they mean as much as They're meant to, and every message sent will get to you I know, I go to you with every ode and
Oh, if only I could be bi-existent, but someone's laws are insistently preventing me from pushing through the usuality to you
And you're my everything
An X representing where I'm standing, And an O to show me where you are That dotted line goes a long, long way But that's okay because you're never so far.
© 2011 E.C. Vida |
