Watching, Waiting, HopingA Poem by Brody James WoodsFirst attempt at a poem, don't be too harsh on it.Watching, waiting, hoping… Unwavering and ever steadfast, I shall never stop waiting. Countless questions about past, present, and future. Was I right? Was I wrong? If only it were that simple.
Countless hours spent wondering, Countless minutes spent anguishing, Countless seconds spent hoping. A life unwasted.
More pain than anyone should know. More happiness than anyone could know. A life of extreme opposites, And yet any other life would be worthless.
And so I will sit here, Watching, waiting, hoping, That one day, the pain will dissipate, And leave only us, in eternal happiness. © 2012 Brody James WoodsAuthor's Note
