Abrading Volley

Abrading Volley

A Poem by Eabani
"

There are feelings that not even time can heal

"
Rainfall washing
Light splashes on windowpane…

Leaving nothing behind
No pattern or trace…

If only those tears
Anguishly wept for you…

Upon your deathbed
Had washed me away…

Cleansing the pain
That even now abrades my spirit…

In so few words you speak a tome; some scars never fade, they're reminders of too much pain. Not even heart's weep can wash it away.

. this piece is superbly written ... you're a master of brevity and intensity in emotional expression ... you are right ... indeed time can't heal all wounds ... i know those wounds really well ... over time, one only becomes better at coping with them a bit better ... they don't really heal ...
