Muse With the Red Hair

Muse With the Red Hair

A Poem by English Rose

 Charcoal skies in her wake

Tap tap of her little leather boots

A pale waif

Gliding towards him over Blackfriars Bridge

Startles his lover’s heart

Magenta aorta explodes

Tearing winds

Whip up a tornado inside his skull

To match her bone white skin

Electrical storms vibrate along his teeth

And as it begins to rain

And as the golden apparition vanishes ahead of him

A burning fire possesses his soul

Oblivion- a lost child crying for its mother

Caught in her siren song.
