Reine de Ciel

Reine de Ciel

A Poem by English Rose

 This orange disc

Leaking over

My scorched plain

Burns kohl rimmed retina

Pitch battlements steeply blue

The shadows are cool

Eagle magnificent on

Bejewelled encrusted fingers

I murmur

Latina

Matina

Matrimona

Crusader golden warrior God

Flow to

Apollo

Apollina

Diana

Gods all my Gods

To worship

To wonder

Gloria Exaltations

Delineations

Along

The Circle

Of my soul

Rotates to the ebb

The spin of blood and gristle

And at the core

White light
Witch nourishes

I know her

Queen of Heaven

Enthroned

In Sienna, Cobalt and Stars.
