Love Knows No Gender

Love Knows No Gender

A Poem by Tyler Engleman

She’s the most bodacious woman I’ve ever seen.

Her eyes can make my problems disappear,

Her smile can shed tears of joy from my soul,

And her luscious skin can make me tingle with glee.

I love when her silk hair hangs in my face

While she kisses the top of my head from behind me.

I’m lost at heart without her in my presence,

I feel a sharp ache in my chest when she’s away.

It tears me apart to see her leave me

Standing in the doorway, emptiness fills me up.

I’m a woman who is passionately in love

With the woman of my dreams, we are gay

But we are in love more than most are.

Love knows no gender and has no boundaries.
