Souls Vs Shadows

Souls Vs Shadows

A Poem by Marissa

Eyes show what humans can't
Emotion rising everyday
Tortured souls come out to play
Haunters and tormentors search the fields
On your mark
Get set
Go
Their off running and colliding
Sparks of light fill the dark cold night
Screams erupt
Laughter starts in
Its like a chorus filled with emotion
The colors show through the wretched night
The battlefield is painted red
Souls Vs Shadows is in play
Who will win?
It's anyone's game
The trees watch
Giving coverage to the souls from time to time
But the shadows lurk everywhere
No where is safe but still they try
Broken down and cracked, almost into pieces
Time out, Time out!
Souls are out numbered and dying quickly
The evil smirks, the taunting laughs
Stabbing their hearts out and stomping the life out of them
There will never be an end, torture is their game
Misery is what they strive for
Is there not a hero that will step up and save us?
A beam of light crashes down to the field
The screeches echo into the night
Shadows are dying out, But wait!
There is a crack in the ground rumbling everything
A never ending whole emerges
Souls fall, screaming out as they enter the pitch black
Shadows Vs Souls who will win?

(Unfinished maybe)
