When those thoughts appear
And you can't control The emotions They tumble through your brain And you don't understand How you could be so wrong How you're always wrong Where do you get Those little thoughts That make you feel bigger Than you actually are? Like on a grander scale You actually matter That you could possibly Be an influence in someone's life And you feel the tears well But you you sing a happy tune And you take another shot To see if that changes the mood Clingy and controlling No one needs your help You don't understand How everyone has felt But you sit there And cling to The faint possibility That maybe Just maybe Thats not the reality But you know deep inside That your words were Temporary And your wisdom isn't what It seems to be Quite contrary Emotions are too complex For someone to handle Them all But that doesnt mean your advice Is helpful to those you think Might fall You have to trust And try to believe That maybe Just maybe Theyre not that naive Even with experience Youre not all knowing Just cause some are blind Doesn't mean all are unknowing So even though sad Don't let those tears fall Waterworks of pride Are not worth the bawl Because honestly Who cares, If you've helped If you've been there or not When peoples choices Are their own, it doesn't Matter where you've been What you've seen So just block out those Feelings, the insecure The wounded thoughts Theyre pointless Won't help you Can't help you © 2020 Enfuriation |
