Grudges Of The Past, Regrets Of The Present~

I never gave you a chance.

Blinded by all my hate,

I never saw that you were always there.

Holding grudges on the past,

I never moved on form your mistakes.

My cold bitter heart,

Always getting in the way.

There was no escape,

I will never be loved.

All these years wasted,

Because I could never forgive you.

The goodness in your heart,

Blinded by the evil of my mind.

I never once did say,

That I was sorry for your pain.

Now the time is ticking by,

And I’m sitting here,

Regretting every hateful word I ever spat at you.

 I’m sitting here alone,

With these voices singing in my head.

I should have said I was sorry,

I should have said “I Love You”,

Now it’s too late,

And I’m sitting here alone,

With memories of you.

They flash before my eyes,

Like a romance movie,

With no happily ever after.
