Our First Kiss

Our First Kiss

A Poem by Kate
"

Title says it all.

"
I came alive with our first kiss,
Your charm, appeal, hard to resist

The fingertips that lingered on my face
lingered with beauty, such lure, such grace

The nice, strong arms you wrapped around my waist
curled around me slowly, with no hurry, no haste.

Your eyes, the eyes, that looked into mine so deep
Took all thoughts from my head, knocked me off of my feet

The hands that you used to caress the small of my back
caressed with the tenderness that many men lack

The lips that you used on my neck, made a trail
made me weak in the knees, so vulnerable and frail

The voice that you used to whisper into my ear,
whispered beautiful things I felt enchanted to hear.

The night that you kissed me, I fell deeper for you,
craving the things that you say and the things that you do

You gave me such ecstasy, you gave me such bliss
It was so exhilarating, when we shared our first kiss
