Cold

Cold

A Poem by Broken Wings

I've caught a cold

From the ice in my soul

Fire can't burn

Cause the ice is so cold

The fire died

When the walls closed in

No oxygen to breathe

Fire can't burn

Heart so cold

Dying for heat

Walls so tight

Fire doesn't burn

Soul cold as space

Dying for warmth

So cold it burns

Fire doesn't burn in outer space
