Chapter 17 (part 2) Augusts pov

Well this was definitely a turn of events. As of now I was holding hands with Leon and walking around the yard with a single flashlight. I really never thought we would be doing this, but you know with this guy anything could happen.

It was kind of scary seeing as how it was pitch black out and all you heard was the rustling of trees. I squeezed Leon's hand a little tighter, it made me feel better. He looked down at me and smiled.

"Don't worry I'm right here babe." He wrapped his arm around my waist and held me close.

It was comforting having him there but still creepy with all the noises. We stopped walking for a minute and listened. We heard a rustle in the tree and looked up.

"Come on guys we found you." I said. Leon shinned the light on the tree and there in the tree was an old tomcat.

"Meooooow..." The cat walked across the branch and Leon giggled.

"It's just a cat silly." He said still giggling

I started to blush and I cuddle closer into him. We kept walking around the yard looking for the other two. Wait...it's anywhere on the property right? Maybe they're in the house.

"Leon lets look in the house." I grabbed his hand and dragged him inside. I could've sworn I heard snickering from the barn....but it was probably just the wind.
