Think before you speak

As I sit in my room

Completely alone

The tears run down my cheeks

So cold

You said some things the other day

But they hurt so much

Did you even think?

Did you think such a thing could hurt so much?

Just a couple little words.

But when you say them 

They aren't just words

More like fire being spit in my face

Or knives being thrown at me.

Think about what you say

Cause my heart hurts so much

When you say hurtful

That are cold to the touch..
