Your experience is unique to you but rest assured that we share this common situation with many, many others. While it may indeed be true that he'll never be back. Personally, I believe you've learned something that you were supposed to. It's a big, big world out there. What will you do differently now that you have this new understanding?

Not even knowing what happened I would say that is probably asking and expecting a lot. Only VERY mature people (and I'm not talking 'age') can actually forgive a wound of the heart. There will always be scars but sometimes the stronger ones can rise above it. Do you think he is that strong? If it turns out that he's not then it's up to you to forgive yourself and get on with your life. I'm sure you understand better what led up to this outcome and will try everything in your power to not let it happen again. Am I right?

Of course he is...he is the strongest person I know...he manages to be so happy through everything...ha always knows what to say...he always tries to make me happy.....and of course you are right...

So, when you say "idk" perhaps you mean you simply need a way to put humpty dumpty back together again. We know how that one turned out. On the other hand, perhaps you should try the direct, honest approach first. Go to him and say, "I would like for you to be my friend once again... to forgive me for all I've done... to understand how bad I feel." Try it. See what happens. What have you got to lose?

OK. What' your back up plan? I mean, if he's as "strong" as you think then he deserves a certain amount of time to respond. On the other hand, you shouldn't just wait around for ever. That's not fair to you. Does that make sense?

Yea I completely understand what you are getting at....but in all honesty I rather wait an eternity before I get a response rather than never get a response....so I'll wait and hope hell forgive me...because I car for and love him...and I think he feels the same. And he is strong so I know he'll find it somewhere in his heart to forgive me....although it may take time I'll wait as long as I must to get a response from my dear friend...
