Stuck this way

Stuck this way

A Poem by Eccentric Soul

This thing has made me crazy,
Yes I've run out of luck
I have become trapped in a tangled web,
That goes by the name of Homestuck

A friend told me about this,
Though I won't mention him by name
He told me to read a comic,
About four kids who play a game

I decided to check it out,
I had nothing else to do
At the time I had no idea,
Just what I was getting into

Act one was a bit boring,
Yet still I read on
I had to see what happened,
To the young boy named John

Soon act five had been reached,
And I met a grumpy troll
By that time it was far too late,
For me to crawl out of this hole

Then I got to the pause,
And I waited like the rest
I waited for an update,
I hoped it would be the best

I cheered when it updated,
But I was quite upset
Many of the players have died,
Though there is hope yet

Now I am a part of the fandom,
This comic has stolen my heart
And even when it comes to an end,
With the memories I'll never part

Sounds like an obsession, but we all have our escapes! Some good rhyming in this "ode" to a comic!
