Prologue.

The low murmur of rumors and ink sprawling across the paper was carried by the wind- all the way past school borders and into the quiet, undisturbed town. That was, until the foundation-shaking roar of the Harley freed the little ghost town of all the living wild life. And effectively gained all the attention as the motor bike came to a halt in the heavily occupied parking lot. The majority of the student body left the cafeteria and their unsigned paper work to venture outside.

Richelle swung her legs over, standing on her own two feet once again. She didn’t bother lifting her shades, fixing her leather jacket or removing her keys. She pulled a small black device from her pocket, her eyes shifting under her tinted shades at her audience that was practically tripping over themselves as their hungry eyes strained to watch her thumbs dance across the screen.

She took time zipping her jacket up over her black bikini and ran her hands through her thick, wild hair. The throaty roar of yet another healthy engine held her attention as she snatched her keys from the ignition before turning to face the shinning red Lamborghini. She paid no mind to the hundreds of girls gawking and drooling over the handsome blonde man who slipped from the door with a stunning effortless grace. He flashed her a wide grin, which she so eloquently returned. “Well, well, well. If it isn’t Miss Richelle Moxx. Fancy meeting you here.” Her booming laughter had the majority of the male population drooling over themselves as they watched her with him. He seemed to noticed and crossed the distance between them, tossing his arm effortlessly over her shoulders before turning sharply to lead her inside.

The girls squirmed in their spots, all trying to get a peek of the color of his eyes, all hopes falling when they realized his were as concealed as hers- under those thick tinted shades. “You know, I expect my jacket back, preferably in the same condition you stole it in.”

“Oh that? I traded it in for a woman’s coat”

He gasped in mock horror, “You killed my baby!”

“Well honey, you stole my Lamborghini.”

Rumors began to form as the glass doors shut behind them. No one could place their accents. Crossed between Australian, British, and English, both male and female witnesses were left breathless.

“Ms. Moxx, you will need to remove those shades for identification purposes.”

“On the count of three then, Mr. Grey?”

The boy, Ashton Grey, smirked. “Anything for you, Love.” As promised, three seconds later, they moved their shades to their front pockets in perfect unison, leaving the whole room stunned.

Ashton, who’d made it perfectly clear he preferred Grey, had yellow-green iris’ outlined in a rich blue. His pupils rather thin and yet average in length, resembled cat slits. Whereas Richelle’s iris’ were the perfect shade of purified gold. Outlined in pitch black, matching her small, almost non-existent pupils.

Both their eyes seemed to move like oceans of lava were stored in their orbs that beamed with an almost glowing intensity. “Say cheese.” Mr. Grey whispered, the only warning they’d receive. Together they flashed wide smiles, revealing their perfect white teeth.
