my favorite song

it is a part of me

simply not a favorite

but part of my soul

my mood

my being

you can learn much about me

just by listening 

the music as well as the lyrics

speak what i cannot say

my mind is embedded in the song

whenever i hear it

my heart stops

i stop

it is like freezing time

if that were possible

i dont need to speak

when there is music

that contains my very soul and heart

without it

i am not there

just dust

without this song

i do not exist

Some of us write to escape the world, some of us create music. Music is special because it can send a message with or without words. The pure emotion of the composer surrounds the mind. I feel the same, if I could not write, I don't know where I'd be. A good relatable write!
