time

time cannot be stopped

time will go on

we hear this everyday

yet do we understand it? 

do we acknowledge its existence?

time controls the world

time controls space

time will continue to control our lives

'time waits for no one'

this is not true

time cannot wait

to wait it would have to be pause

time does not wait

the correct phrase is, 

'time cannot wait'

time hates the living

we may find ourselves in a moment that 

we want to last forever

but no

no it can't

cuz time cannot wait for you to move on

we cannot move on

i know i haven't

and see how much this has wounded me?

i am not the same as i once was

time has ruined me

time has left a hole in my mind

time will continue ruining us

generation after generation

time is the true enemy of life

time has saved us many over the years

yet

time has no appreciation

time has hurt us over and over

and it will continue

cuz time cannot wait.

I do love the theme here. I remember as a child time was there for the taking. Days were long and there just seemed to be time.... these days its almost as if we are borrowing time to make up time. Misusing time to get things done....where did the time go.

It is much better to accept time for what it is than try to figure it out. Live each moment in that moment for once it is over, it is. This poem was great. I liked where you went here even if it was sad.
