The joyful Mourn of reconnection.

The joyful Mourn of reconnection.

A Poem by En.Ki

I've seen this inside

in the words that hold worlds together

I speak but am never heard

I listen to be burdened by the loss of what I need

You came from somewhere beyond the mountains

holding, what I pushed behind

So why do you need me now

when things were going so well

Come now I know there has to be a reason

Some times I thought about reaching out to you

In a moment, in dreams I thought...

I see you now

In the place you began to fall

Crawling to see what could be

Your decisions have left you where you are

I don't know if I can ever trust you again.

So why do you need me now

when things were going so well

I've lived through this hell

I've been here before

The joyul mourn of reconnection

The dreaded fear, of our recollection...

So why, oh why are you wanting me

Why, oh why are you needing to see

I left this part of me beyond the mountains

Why are you coming back for me

...
