Letting You Go.

Letting You Go.

A Poem by En.Ki

I can remember

All the times you needed me

All the lies we fixed

The reasons we explained and the excuses,

The pain

I'll take the blame...

Where are you now

Can you still show your face

I've held onto these things

These memories

When can I let you go

Why can't I let you go

I know

We've thrown it all away.

You should be close as my brother

Our paths are long and winding, but we seem to have strayed

We've stayed... away, for so long

We've decayed, Through regret I'm moving on

so long, I'm gone

I'm in a place where I finally feel proud of myself

I fought so hard, for so long

you'll never know what I've been through

and you , you close your eyes, to cry

A sigh, I should have tried to guide you, I left you alone, at home needing more from a brother, your brother

but I was never your friend

In the end

I'm letting you go

I'm letting it go...
