How Corrosive I have Become

Courage formed in atrophy

Motionless I self induce

A sleep of silent screaming

Evacuating the truth

 

Constructed ethereal simulations

To hold before my eyes

Foreign manipulation

Taking hold of me

 

Look at how corrosive I’ve become

I’m leaking through the bandages

Spilling all my blood

But I hold my view that in my room

I am saved

I am here

 

Slicing at the memories

Cutting at the roots

Devour all the consequences

Your words of truth

Fill my head with complication

And drain my inner fears

I felt my heart fall to the floor

And you were never here…

I seem to speak of how you are

Of how I need you close

(You’ve stayed so far)

I gave you a decision

Your decision

Has left me bare

 

I pick apart my fallacy

That somehow you’re still here with me

I slowly dismember

How I remember

How you were so near

Very deataiiled
and I loved how it alll came together
it was very creative and interesting
it reallyl caught my eye
the only critisism I have but again its not my poem so its just muy opinion when it says
"I seem to speak of how you are
Of how I need you close
(You’ve stayed so far) I think you might have meant strayed I believe I would just take out the brackets
