Coming Home (they all fell)

Coming Home (they all fell)

A Poem by En.Ki

calm...
overwhelming...
deafening sounds
such silent screams
when we dare to nightmare
we stare
our souls bare
the resemblance
the echos of a yesteryear...
the one you fear

reaching
deep inside me
the hatred
the feelings
emotion spent on the emotionless
a backing that was never there
whos to care
whos to know
the life that drowned in the undertow
we fell but became
what we are
all that we are...

looking back,
I realise
the morning dew
the little surprise
we prepared for something more
we became so much more...

do you feel
we could be
so much more
more to see
time became
our only friend
they fell apart
they all fell...

"the corpses rise from beneath,
seperated from their minds
they crave what they need most,
they need to feel a pulse...
there is no place to run, no place to hide"

calm...
overwhelming...
deafening sounds
such silent screams
when we dare to dream
we stare
our souls bare
the resemblance
the echos of a yesteryear...
the one you fear

it's so clear,
the path we took
we're going home
we're coming home.

(they all fell apart)
