Clearing The Floor

It's become so easy to pretend

That the day to day way I show my face

Is what's really going on

I've led myself to believe

That the things I've done

Can be vindicated

That the words I spill

will finally fill someone elses tongue

 

But what I really need

Is to let this go

It was good to see you

That I hold on to the point of obsession
