Maternal Scaring

Maternal Scaring

A Poem by En.Ki
"

A small venting of (at the time) a current situation.

"

Sit inside your silver filter

break apart your inner walls

crumbling down you fill your hatred

more rooms to build and collapse

seen a thousand times

the eyes that bring forth forfeit and defeat

brought to you by the comfort of the deceit that repeats

your hands held bigger things in better days

now it all slips away

crushed by the feeling.

you're all alone

burned by the conflict

of the scars digging deeper...

let your inhibitions fade away

we met the Saviour to disappoint

the route taken was not our own

forced in upon ourselves

this cross we bare

has gotten heavy...

we dream of leaving

heading in ways we never know

passing all the ones,

who've yet to come,

please help me through this lose

I find this apathy is killing me...

again.
