Escape

Escape

A Poem by Lavery the Librettist

Walking along,
Then meet a wall.
Is this a test?
A trial to fall?

Do you turn back?
To what you once knew.
Or begin this great climb,
To a world unknown and new.

Making this decision,
Do you try to escape?
Or face this head on.
Embrace a new fait.

Some may enjoy this challenge,
Others may crumble.
Will you fight or flight?
Or in between will you stumble?
