Who am I?

An Ode to Me

Who am I?

I’m me.

A true and honest person.

What you get is what you see.

 

A tough persona,

to some it would seem.

But I am just human,

with no hidden agenda or scheme.

 

Outspoken to a fault.

Strong opinions I have too.

But one thing is for certain,

If you’re my friend I’ll do right by you.

 

Loyal to the core.

Caring and much more.

But sometimes that isn’t quite enough,

a mug I have been taken for.  

 

I know who is important,

in my heart, kept close and true.

For those people I am so thankful,

Who have helped to define me, all of my life through.

Very nice. Concise and to the point ! Like the way it is layed out that fits the message given. I think you have done a very good job of this, and of course you are the type of person that I personally am and look for characteristics in friends I choose.

It's very difficult to write something about yourself and quite unusual too, I enjoyed this poem very much.

it was part of a contest on here in which u had to write a poem abt urself. usually i wudnt b so comfortable with that lol but i think i was at least honest with it.thank u for ur feedback :)
