What is Love

I thought i knew what love was, before meeting you last year,
Never did i realise, the real thing i was never near.
Silly high school crushes, old boyfriends which have passed,
Thank heavens that none of them, were never meant to last.

The moment that i met you, i new this was so different,
We both wer so so nervous, full of anticipation and excitement.
After a few drinks, we both could now relax,
To start and get to know each other,
exchanging personal facts.

After two more dates, i knew there was definately something,
Interesting and intrigueing, iv been left lusting.
And so it began, our relationship started,
Try not to miss me, when we are parted.

A year and a half on, how far we have come,
4 guinea pigs, a dog, and a place we call our home.
Iv moved from my own hometown, to set up a new life,
But only for you Chris, would I make that sacrifice.

My soul mate, my best friend, my cute little pea,
Always there to turn to, the luckiest girl that is me.
My guitar hero, an amazing songwriter too,
There are so many reasons, why i love you.

Kind and generous, witty and laid back,
Sorry for being grumpy sumtimes, when im tired i have no tact.
So thank u for the great times so far, there really has been many,
And heres to our future together, great memories im sur therl be plenty.
