My FamilyA Poem by Lavery the LibrettistDedication to my family
My family, my heritage, my roots my lifeline,
Such a large family circle, im so lucky to have mine. One sister, one brother, my mum and my dad, All living and healthy, for that i am glad. A priveleged upbringing, that i am sure, A home filled with love, so honest and pure. Through school days and teenage years, some tough times wev been through, But wev all stuck together, through the times wev been blue. Holidays, day trips, family parties, big events, Heres a big thank you, for all that youv spent. Tantrums and rows, of those theres been many, Sorrys and hugs, oh wev had plenty. But despite those little arguements, wev stil all stayed strong, Even though wer all no longer, at home wer we belong. But if one things for sure, its brought us all closer, Made us not take for granted our time now spent together. With caroline in oz, and gareth at uni, Me in fermanagh, im sur mum and dad miss us three. So thank u so much for all you have done for me, I love u both dearly, you mean so much to me. © 2013 Lavery the LibrettistReviews
