My longing, your pleasure

My longing, your pleasure

A Poem by EmpressPoetess

My need to feel you makes my heart ache

I lay awake and wish that you were here

The silence of missing you drives me mad

Someday I know we’ll be together once more

My loneliness is but a momentary chill

That soon the warmth of you will vanquish

You’ll take the loneliness away from me

Along with my nightly pool of tears

Oh how I long to feel your embrace

To run my fingers along your cheek

And see the pleasure in your eyes

Knowing that your pleasure is me

So come to me slowly in my dreams

Awaken me with kisses soft and tender

Whisper to me softly that you’re here

And make me feel your presence tonight

I love your writing, it has that old-fashioned touch, what I like so much. "Along with my nightly pool of tears" brilliant. Delightful write, filled with the embrace of love.

Very enticing... I love it. I can feel every word that you wrote just come at me in one massive wave. Simply beautiful. :)
