We're starting something

We're starting something

Beneath a blanket of twinkling lights

among the shadows of summer nights

petals of violets and roses red

my lover made us a floral bed

I traced his shoulder with tender lips

he moves his firm hands across my hips

I hold my breath lest I shake apart

I know I'll become lost once we start

The wine is cold but my pressure's high

revealing passions I can't deny

your warm lips move me to softly melt

I've had a vision of sweet, sweet love

that will ascend to the skies above

we've started "something" so trully deep

we'll make this "something" we'll always keep.
