Winter beauty

Winter beauty

A Poem by EmpressPoetess

S
oft as cotton, cold as ice
Newly fallen to the earth
Only here for a short time
White dazzle of chilled beauty.

F
rom my view, simply amazing.
An awe-inspiring sight of nature
Let the children laugh and play
Let kids of all ages enjoy this wonder
I know we'll build an odd snowmen
Noses of carrots and eyes of buttons
Gleefully laughing as we design him

J
ust make sure to bundle up warmly
Old man winter's bite can be nasty
Yield yourself to the joy of snow!

This is pure marshmallow winter joy! Loved the laughter that flows through each line. As much as I don't like driving in snow and ice, it is still pure magic to me... Looking out my window at it now and smiling!
