Put me out of your heart

Put me out of your heart

A Poem by EmpressPoetess

I’m tired

of seeking your attention
oh, and did I mention?

I don’t want to be here
until it all falls apart
so release me,
put me out of your heart

Hurting each other
that was not our plan
but keeping us together
we just can’t seem to man

This rocky ship of fools
it has run itself ashore
our anchor didn’t hold
I don't want this anymore
either you’re all in
or you give up and fold

Let me go,
I need to live outside you
I won’t stay here
until our love turns blue

A poem that runs along scattering its message with a determination and a clarity... 'I need to live outside you'... a longed for escape

Man I've been there .... It's like why are we together? Let's end it now before it gets any worse. This piece was very detailed and specific about the emotions of going through hard times like this . Great flow , I enjoyed this style of your writing.
