There was a time when my world was gray

Time stood still, there was no reaction

Life was dull, with no satisfaction

Then life did brighten, you came my way

 

Sunshine and sweetness was your affect

What joy and pain your smile placed in me

True love elements to deem happy  

All my pieces began to connect

 

Now love filled and peacefully sated

My lone existence came to and end

I have a love I’ll fiercely defend

Your heart and mine now consummated

 

You’re my light that no one can defuse

Now all time and space have found their place

Within your charming and tender grace

You’re my heart, my soul, my love, my muse
