For such beauty

For such beauty

A Poem by EmpressPoetess
"

A Swap Quatrain

"

For such beauty I am pining

Please excuse my youthful whining

But I’ve seen a stunning cutie

I am pining for such beauty

I’d climb old Dante’s peak for sure

For your bright eyes I would procure

The flame to match your eyes sublime

Old Dante’s peak for sure I’d climb

For beauty such as yours I will

Create for you, the greatest thrill

I’ll open all unopened doors

I will for beauty such as yours

Lovely write, EP. There's such a sweetness, with a touch of tongue-in-cheek to this that makes it downright charming. Excellent use of the Swap Quatrain form here in the rhyme.

Thank you for participating in the Poetry in-FORM_ation Challenge.

I do admire the way you have a go at these tightly constructed forms with their challenging rhyming schemes... There was a whimsical charm about this, a warm, smiling naughtiness, which I found endearing...
