Pasta and ponderingA Poem by EmpressPoetessMy mind oscillates to and fro To temper my flailing moods.
I imagine floating in cool water, whispering to spring butterflies That dance atop my crinkled nose.
The sun sparkles diamond like, A sign of my need to change angles. I suppose, as I filter my unwed dreams, of life now and life beyond this.
Enchantment has embraced me tight. I shall toss it all up and see where it lands! Is there no wonder I smile to myself Like a small, daydreaming child © 2011 EmpressPoetessReviews
