Pages of passion

Pages of passion

A Poem by EmpressPoetess

Oh author of my romantic plight
Writing me down in your book
What scene am I to play tonight
A vixen or your cool love crook?

*As I turn the page*

Will I be sipping chilled wine
and dancing beneath the stars?
Or will I be your timid love slave
Begging you from behind bars

I’m a puppet dangling from a string
Your fingers write my every move
You’re in control of my thinking
my body stirs to your every grove

You’ve paced my heartbeat to a flutter
My breathing’s a soft beckoning sound
I’m as soft as warm, melted butter
When you’re here loving me down

*I turn the page*

I see you’ve penned well your desire
Into every passionate, sensual scene
And as I turn the pages of raging fire
There's always a bit of you in between
