and placed so far away from me?

and nights without you in our bed

please give me back those love filled days
when just for me, your eyes did blaze
when love was all abloom in you
and passion burned between us two

I churn inside for what I miss
the sweetness of your tender kiss
on moonlit nights of star filled skies
I vision high, your twinkling eyes

along the sandy ocean's shore
of joy and pain we shared deeply
of my great love , now lost to me
