Dream Scheme

Dream Scheme

A Poem by EmpressPoetess

Come walk with me
in twilight dreams
along the shores
of crystal streams

(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)

Before the night
Does fall away
And give in to
the light of day

(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)

I must redeem
our passion theme
because it seems
I have no dreams,
Without you

A beautiful poem. In so few words you said so much. When two walk together. Great things can happen. A excellent poem.

Another poem that takes along in the dream until the short last line that stops us in our tracks works - to emphasise what the whole poem is about - the being 'without you'.

I'm always a sucker for poetry about dreams, and yours is a good one particularly. Its brief but it surely packs a wallop, which is memorable.
