How deep my love

 

Beloved, come lay where you feel rest
Your head softly against my warm breast

I give myself to you, a solid shield
Find comfort in this strength I wield

Though you are man, you may have a doubt
And not be sure of what this life is about

When life’s storm blows swiftly our way
Shaking the foundation of which we lay

At that time, the little boy in you may awaken
Be assured, by my side you’ll never be forsaken

Take my love; let it be your blanket of security
Against all odds, we’ll face life's obscurity
