Endeared

 

The first time we kiss,
I’ll dance on the moon.

I’ll fly all the way to heaven to make tea.

I’ll run in a field on bare feet,

on a surface like small, soft clouds.

What do you see in my eyes?

my hope is that you see forever.

I jump at every chance to show you enchantments.

Simply sleep in my arms and dream of me.

This is an enchanting write... the romantic notions of dancing on the moon, flying to heaven to make tea, running bare footed have a wonderful appeal, the wild dreams of a lover... and the hope and wonder of attraction, the desire to display every attraction has a wistful sense of delight and hope... with the beautiful last line capping it off...
